Scario

Scario is the largest village of San Giovanni a Piro in the province of Salerno, an important tourist destination for the quality of its waters and for its location along the Cilento coast. Scario is a really nice village where to take a stroll and sip a Gelato after a long day at the sea. From the port of Scario you can reach by sea, one of the most beautiful places in the Marine Protected Area: Punta Infreschi (Camerota). The coast from Scario to Marina di Camerota, where middle ages watchtowers, natural caves and coves are accessible only by sea.
The low urbanization and the establishment of the Park of Cilento and Vallo di Diano, made it possible to maintain in Scario and its sorroundings a great landscape value and a very low level of pollution.
