WWF site Grotte del Bussento

A deep gorge, rich in lush vegetation; at its center a stream with springs, waterfalls and an ancient mill. A path leads to the cave where the river Bussento resurrects after his mysterious path of more than 5 kilometers underground. The "Grotte del Bussento" WWF site, established in 1985, is the largest conservation project of World Wildlife Fund Italy and is included in the list of World Geoparks.
